Digital Art is Real Art
Since 2003 I’ve been painting digitally. Using traditional training to influence my digital work and vice versa. It’s still a tool I have to use for commercial animation work, but ever since AI has entered the chat, there’s less of a draw to the medium that was already under constant question of validity.
This is a collection of paintings and studies over the last decade and I would hope it shows just the breadth of what can be done with digital and how understanding traditional methods is absolutely foundational.
