Here are some samples of production art for animation that required more 3-dimensional rendering/painting styles. In most cases, I’ve compared them against their 2D design conception to demonstrate how designs can be interpreted.

My role as a visual development artist dictates that I work quickly and produce many ideas and options for a single project. As an art director, I work heavily with the CG artists to develop the CG design language at the modelling stage. Sometimes at the development stage I’ll take the loose sketches and finish them in a quality that can fully sell the completed idea and how it may look in a 3D world.
